Buckland Athletic 0 – 1 Chipping Sodbury Town

Buckland slipped to their 2nd home defeat in 3 games yesterday after failing to turn their dominate possession into clear cut chances against a resolute and determined Chipping Sodbury side that was seeking its first league win of the season.

Interim Manager, Adam Castle made 3 enforced changes from last week’s win away to Cribbs FC, on-loan Truro City defender Austen Booth replaced the injured Mike Booth, the returning Lloyd Gardner came in for the unvailable Nick Rudge and back-up goalkeeper Marko Radovanovic came in for the also unavailable Kenny Griffiths.

Replacement keeper Radovanovic was heavily invloved in the only goal of the game on 25 minutes, when a corner wasn’t dealt with and the ball fell to a Chipping player to score easily into an empty net.

On another day Buckland may have got a result from this performance but it wasn’t to be, congratulations to CST on their win and best of luck for the rest of the season.
