The club is delighted to learn that Lloyd Gardner had decided to return to Buckland Athletic after mutually agreeing with Truro City to terminate his contract with the National League side.
Lloyd left the club in summer after agreeing a 1 year contract with Truro City, but he is now free to add to his 140 appreances and 39 goals.
Buckland’s Director of Football, Adam Castle added “It was a massive blow to lose Lloyd in pre-season, but it was a brilliant opportunity for him to go with Truro and we wished him all the very best. However in the last 24hrs his situation changed and once all his contract details were cleaned up with Truro City he made me aware of his availability and I’m delighted to be able to say Lloyd is back at the club”
“He’s a fantastic player, one of the few match winners in this league and I can’t wait to start working with him again”
